Never having contributed to a wiki-like page and being a technically-challenged failure, it might take me a little while to navigate my way around the site. But I will upload my poster and protocols soon, nudge me if I haven't in a few days. Plus, I have to change my bio. Apparently writing something a little tipsy in 2 mins is a bad idea. Didn't realise it would actually appear online! Had so much fun with you and Jerems in chicago.

Ha ha. Hadn't been to your homepage in a while. Thoroughly enjoyed your deep thoughts blurb.
Sooo, the "neruobloggers" list is posted on the SfN website. I guess we should get our act together. We should really push for poster submissions, we'll have like 15k targets. We should advertise on the site, but if I see a poster I really like and will probably write about, I'll personally invite the presenter to submit. Off to Chicago tomorrow (and coming down with some flu-like symptoms at the moment - perfect timing!) See you soon, bud.

Started the SfN 2009 page. Flight is at 7am tomorrow, feeling sick, and still have to pack, so didn't finish it up.
Add to it or erase and start over if you wish or want to take it in a different direction. I'm beat

I read your deep thoughts. Very entertaining. I absolutely love it!
I caught 2 minor errors, not b/c I was trying to edit it, just b/c I tend to notice these things. So, "two equally badass ape" needs the s, and in your last paragraph, "... knowledge and tools that valued by employers within..." I think you should delete "that" or make it "that are." Just my 2 sense for you ;) Your a very smart, by the way. Like you didn't know! -Nicole

It doesn't! It's back to being a mess. Looks nice on chrome but not as pretty as the one you posted on my talk. Booo. IE is the devil. Thanks for playing though, now go and play with Pom.

Yeah, had been a while since I posted any news, so wasn't sure if that was the en vogue protocol. In fact, I don't think this is the en vogue comment section for you, either.

Hi nic, how are you?

Dear Brad,
My name is Matthew Barrett, and I am a neuroscience educator and coach--a "brain trainer." I started a company in 2007 to share clear, accurate and relevant neuroscience information with people who need it. Recently I've been working with a lot of senior citizens groups, including many clients who are not comfortable with modern technology. To help them, I'm developing the Brain Bulletin, a hard copy newsletter that will share recent neuroscience information in an easy-to-read fashion.
I'd like to be able to use your blog contents from time to time, when space allows. I'd give you credit, and if I needed to cut things short for space, I'd include a web address for people to read the whole story. If you have any other requests for the handling of your information, I'm open to discuss them. I want my readers to get clear, accurate and relevant brain science information, and your blog seems to be one of the few places where that can be obtained.
Please let me know if and when I can share your content with my readers.

Hey Matthew, that sounds great! This is exactly what we are trying to evolve OneSci into accomplishing -- the free dissemination of scientific information, particularly neuroscience news. We would much appreciate the trackback or citation though (you know how this SEO world works). Also, I invite you to make a page one OneSci describing your business if you'd like.
