The To Do List is part of the [[Category:Agenda]] (which is code that should be put at the end of any page related to OneSci goals and operation procedures. Speaking of which, that is something to do. You. Do that right now.
Do Now!
- Contact Conferences and Student Research Symposiums and see if they want to host their conference posters here for free. This is what you might say in your email
- Recruit people
- Contribute one protocol (per week!)
- Make a suggestion about what links should be added/removed from the main page
- Seek and destroy Red links
- Create a profile for your lab
- Create
[[Category:Research Software]] and make a page for any software you use to conduct research; even if you have just the slightest idea how it works. Just make sure you put [[Category:Research Software]] at the end of the article. For instance, the brain imaging software AFNI is an example.
To Do In General
- Recruit!
- Think of the most useful and legit links for the left sidebar.
- If you notice the website being sluggish, test the Main Page on the Octagate Site Timer and send the results to BM so he can complain to dreamhost

Things To Keep In Mind
- The more links to external websites, the better. Add external citations whenever possible.
- When uploading a file, name it something relevant. We want these images to show up in search engines.
- ORIGINAL CONTENT FOLKS! If you've copied and pasted material from another website, it will actually decrease the search engine page-rank for key words found in the pirated text, even if other pages on OneSci contain legit original content about the same topic.
Things For Admins
- Protect important templates (when in doubt, use the cascading option as well)
