If your tissue is peeling or floating it's probably because:
- you are not wetting the chuck enough while cutting and removing the tissue from the blade with a wet brush
- your water bath has been used for more than 2 hours
- you are using some sort of plastic instead of parafin
- you added to little or too much hardener during infiltration
- you are not using electrostatically +charged slides
- your DI water is too acidic
